In 2018 Paramount Photography and the New Republic Pictures took over the distribution, and finally, Dexter Fletcher was taken as the director, with TaronEgerton playing the lead role of Elton John. Other cast includes Richard Madden as John Reid, former manager of Elton, and Bryce Dallas Howard as Sheila Eileen, Elton’s mother.
